Transfil

Transfil is a silent giant. In addition to supplying control cables to the French automotive industry, Transfil produces internal wires and external cables for bicycles. Both the original gear set and cable set were superseded by the high-end Black Snake incompressible system, which included a Teflon-coated jacket resistant to water, mud and sand. This was followed by the Flying Snake system, with a watertight carbon/Kevlar outer shell that weighed 30% less than the cable set. The latest generation Nox Snake system features a white carbon outer shell with a Teflon-coated inner tube. These kits are compatible with both MTB and road bikes.
